How to Send Your Files

Getting your stems to me is simple.

Before your mix begins, please upload your song files to one of the file-sharing services below and send me the shareable link. This keeps the submission process simple and makes it easy to transfer large audio files.

01

Prepare Your Stems

  • Export your individual tracks/stems rather than one stereo file.
  • Keep vocals, harmonies, ad-libs, drums, instruments, and effects separated when possible.
  • Make sure every stem starts at the same point in the timeline.
  • Do not send a mastered or heavily limited stereo mix.
  • Clearly label each file.
  • Export as WAV whenever possible.
02

Upload Your Files

Upload your stems and reference mix to one of the following file-sharing services:

Dropbox

Upload your folder and create a shareable link.

Google Drive

Upload your folder and make sure the sharing permissions allow me to access and download the files.

WeTransfer

Upload your files and generate a shareable download link.

03

Send Your Link

Copy the shareable link and email it to mixing@jcusebeats.com to start your mixing request.

Important: Make sure your link permissions are set so that I can access and download the files.

Include a Reference Mix

Please include a rough or reference mix of your song. This helps me understand your vision for the vocal balance, effects, energy, and overall sound.

If there are specific effects or processing you want preserved — such as Auto-Tune, distortion, delay, reverb, or other creative effects — please make sure they're included in your reference mix or clearly identified.

Recommended File Format

  • WAV
  • 24-bit preferred
  • 44.1kHz or 48kHz
  • All stems should begin at the same point in the timeline

Ready to Send Your Files?

From Syracuse to the studio floor.

J.Cuse in the studio

Julian Nicholson, known professionally as J.Cuse, is an American record producer and songwriter born August 6, 1991, in Syracuse, New York. He relocated to Indianapolis as a child, where an early fascination with music quickly grew into a formal pursuit of production.

His break came early. In 2009, while still a student at Pike High School, J.Cuse produced pivotal records for multi-platinum recording artist Bow Wow's Greenlight, the artist's first project following his signing to Cash Money Records. The placement established J.Cuse's credibility inside the industry before he'd even graduated, laying the foundation for the career that followed.

Rather than treat that early success as a destination, J.Cuse used it as a starting point. After graduating, he signed a production deal with Grammy Award–winning songwriter and producer John Conte Jr., known for his work on Jamie Foxx's "Blame It" and Shakira's "Dare La La." The years that followed were formative. Working out of major recording studios, J.Cuse learned the craft and business of Record-making from the inside, refining both his technical ear and his instincts for what a record needs to work at the highest level.

In the years since, J.Cuse has built a catalog spanning major and independent artists alike, producing for Birdman, Tory Lanez, Curren$y, Mark Battles, Dizzy Wright, Jae Millz, and others. His work has also extended beyond hip-hop, with production and sound design credits for national television networks.
